Akif Mehmetoğlu MD
Mehmetoğlu completed his undergraduate education at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine between 2006 and 2012, earning the title of Medical Doctor. In 2012, he began his specialization in Dermatology and Venereal Diseases at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine, which he completed in 2016 with his thesis titled “Survival Time in the Biological Treatment of Psoriasis Patients.” He is a member of the Turkish Dermatology Association and the European Dermatology and Venereology Association.
Conferences and Seminars Attended
In 2014, he delivered oral presentations at the Dermatooncology meeting held in Baku, titled “A Case Where Merkel Cell Carcinoma and Basal Cell Carcinoma Were Observed Together” and “Adalimumab Treatment in 3 Pediatric Cases with Generalized Pustular Psoriasis.”
He has presented seminars on “The Use of Lasers in Dermatology,” “Skin Findings in Organ Transplant Patients,” and “Approach to Hemangiomas.”
In 2015, he participated in the Lütfü Tat Symposium with his work titled “A Case of Deep Dermatophytosis with Recurrent Vegetative Masses Resistant to Conventional Systemic Antifungals.”
In 2016, he attended the Dermatocurgery Congress as an auditor, focusing on complex surgical interventions.
In September 2017, he attended the training titled “World Liposuction Congress” held in Chicago.
In June 2019, he attended the training titled “15th Vegas Cosmetic Surgery and Aesthetic Dermatology” held in Las Vegas.
